First Tuesday of each month (except January) at The Veteran Car Club of Queensland Clubrooms, 1376 Old Cleveland Road, Carindale. Meeting starts at 8:00pm, usually preceeded by a complimentary BBQ.

All Makes Swap Meet – Last Sunday in January

At the Eight Mile Plains Primary School, Corner Logan Road and Underwood Road, Eight Mile Plains, Brisbane. Set up for site holders from 5:30am. Sites $10 on the day. Gates open for the public at 6am. Entry $3 per person. All over by 12 noon. Food and drinks available.

Chev Super Sunday Show and Shine – Sunday 31 July 2011

This is where Chev enthusiasts get together for a catch up. The event is open to all Chevrolet and Chev powered vehicles. The Chev Super Sunday is proudly presented by the Chevrolet Car Club of Queensland Inc, the 55-56-57 Shoebox Club of Queensland Inc and the Eight Mile Plains Primary School. Where – At the Eight Mile Plains Primary School, Corner of Logan Rd and Underwood Rd, Eight Mile Plains, Brisbane. For entrants, the entry fee is $10 per vehicle (driver and one passenger), with gates opening at 8:00 am. Spectators – $3 per person. Food and drinks are available. Entertainment provided. Harrigan’s Drift Inn Rod and Custom Show – Sunday 16th October 2011

At Harrigan’s Drift Inn, Calypso Bay, Jacobs Well. This event is open to all rod and custom vehicles – classics, street machines, hot rod, custom, vintage, veteran etc. From 9:00 to around 3pm. Club Runs

Eric Tomson is the organizer for Club runs for this year. Runs he has in mind include a trip to Lakeside Racing Circuit, Cabarita and the Jet Boats, an Observation Run and the Plane Museum at Caloundra. Check the minutes for a monthly update usually. In May we are heading to Wide Bay for their car show and a weekend away. It is the Labour Day weekend so we have a booking at the Kondari Resort for Friday, Saturday, Sunday nights. People wanting to leave early on Friday, be at the Chev Club rooms by 9am to leave all together with stops at Gympie and Maryborough, getting to Hervey Bay by mid afternoon. Friday night we’re having a Club BBQ in conjunction with the Wide Bay Rodders at The Happy Wanderers Caravan Park. June, Queens Birthday long weekend will be Wintersun; July 4 Lakeside; July 10 Cabarita and watch Jet boat Racing.
