Queensland Transport Special Interest Vehicle Scheme (SIVS)

Is your vehicle concessionally registered under this scheme?

If so, then you need to be aware of the regulations that are relevant to the usage of your vehicle. Details are available from Queensland Transport offices or from their web site – www.transport.qld.gov.au – and follow Home > Registration > Motor Vehicles > Street Rods and Vintage Cars to the Special Interest Vehicle Guide which can be downloaded.

As stated on the Queensland Transport web site – “Failure to comply with the conditions of the Special Interest Vehicle Scheme is an offence and serious consequences may result”.

Please familiarize yourself with the regulations.
